For the occasion of the SEBRAE Designer Price, event presented as part of the program of the IV Brazilian Bienal of Design 2012, Atelier Marko Brajovic designed an "forest" made out of jute fibre from the brazilian Amazon rain-forest tensed by steel rings. To model and implement our scenography elements in the Oscar Niemeyer amphitheater at Palacios das Artes, we used a parametric modeling software and finally the inner characteristics of the fiber material in "form finding" the final shape.
In a front of stage, we placed a rosco (holo) screen that received animated images and contents of the SEBRAE Design Price. Additional RGB LED lightning was programed to illuminate the backdrop "forest" scenography according the the price categories.
