The design of the stage as well as the "Tree" trophy offers a reflection about the environmental emergency crisis that we are currently experiencing locally and globally. The trophies are fabricated with iron and high tension ropes, manufactured by Tidelli. Besides symbolizing the forest in a poetic way, the design carries a dual functionality; a scenography and a seating area. Together, the trees and benches are self-supporting structures of almost 3 meters in length. The structures were also manufactured at a smaller scale into trophies.The tree trophies were delivered to each architect, designer and landscape architect winners, as well as a replanting a real tree certificate. The symbolic and practical reforestation was able to happen thanks to the partnership with the ONG Iniciativa Verde.
