The set design for "Nike - Batalha das Quadras" event proposes a unique and engaging experience in the brand world. The basic concept of the architectural project of the event arises from a "footprint" in the sand, a footprint that marks the beach with its design.
A light gesture that dialogues with the natural skyline of Copacabana beach and is consistent with the surrounding architecture. Our footprint is a giant "sole" made up of hexagons that articulate the closed and open spaces, organizing the functions and programs of the event: Barber Shop, Interactive Mirror, Pocket Show, BNT - CBF, Players Lounge and Games Area. The spaces are permeable and configure a situation favorable to natural ventilation, which is completed by the comfort of shadows created in the whole space by "trees" in metal structure with closure in sanete (micro-perforated canvas).
The scenography of the Village creates a dialogue between the various spaces through a dynamic of squares, streets and galleries, practically becoming an open-air urban gallery.
NIKE brand identity permeates the space and engages visitors with visual communication produced by renowned artists. The same is reflected in the varied activities such as games, music, videos, style, interactivity and finally urban culture and sports.
The furniture as all objects are also designed specifically for the event and follow the geometric concept of the hexagon. The strategy of the hexagon geometry is present in the organization of products, in the seats, bleachers and decoration of the walls.
All structural metal materials will be disassembled and reused. Wood decks will be transformed into new exhibition spaces.
